Busy Elwood Tavern crowd watching live sport inside the pub.

The Elwood Tavern

Studio Still manages Elwood Tavern’s digital presence across Instagram and TikTok, creating consistent content that reflects the people, atmosphere and community that make the venue a true local pub. The focus is on capturing Elwood Tavern as a familiar meeting place — somewhere locals come for a beer, a feed, live sport, a catch-up with mates and the everyday moments that make the pub feel like home.

Social Media Growth

Elwood Tavern has been a great venue for Studio Still to work with, because it already has the feeling of a proper neighbourhood venue, run by wonderful owners and a great set off staff.

It’s not trying to be something it’s not. It’s a relaxed local spot built around familiar faces, good food, cold beers, live sport, weekly specials and those easy moments where people drop in for one drink and end up staying a little longer.

The goal with Elwood was never to make the venue feel overly polished or trendy. It was about bringing the community side of the place forward and making the social accounts feel more like the venue itself.

Over the past few months, we’ve focused on creating content that highlights the people and moments that make Elwood feel alive. Staff behind the bar, locals catching up, friends in the beer garden, sport on the screens, weekly meal deals and simple pub moments have all played a part in shaping the account.

A big part of the strategy has been showing Elwood as more than just a place for food and drinks. It’s a meeting place. Somewhere locals can come for a pint after work, watch the game with mates, bring the family for a feed, or settle in for a relaxed afternoon in the beer garden.

At the same time, we’ve kept the content practical and clear by promoting the reasons people should visit each week, food specials, happy hour, live sport, events and casual moments around the venue.

Overall, Elwood Tavern has been about documenting the culture of a true local pub. Nothing too forced, nothing too polished, just good people, good food, cold drinks and a venue that feels like part of the neighbourhood.

If you’re ever around Elwood when the footy’s on, this is the perfect spot to settle in, watch the game, and enjoy a beer and a meal.
